Monaco GP

This weekend sees the most prestigious, and some would say difficult race in the F1 calendar, the Monaco Grand Prix. A unique race, run across the streets of Monte Carlo.

78 Laps of 2.1 miles giving a race distance of 161.9 miles, it is one of the best known, and oldest motor races on Earth. Racing has occurred in Monaco since 1929.

Recent years have seen mark Webber, Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso win the race. It's also a great stalking ground for Michael Schumacher, the German having won it 5 times. Last years winner, Sebastian Vettel will certainly be keen to do it again.

This years championship has seen 5 races with 5 different winners. If we have a different winner this race, that will be 6 in a row which has never happened before. There are plenty of drivers who are in with a shout, Jenosn Button and Mark Webber among them.

Will this weekend's race live up to the standard set over the past few weeks? Remember you can follow all the action with The F1 Forum, and on Twitter using the #f1 and #mgp tags.
